Core Values
The following Core Values capture and communicate the uniqueness of WSL such that its Core Values will endure as our leadership and membership inevitably change over time. These Core Values are at the heart of our organization.
Connected
All members feel valued and that they belong to the whole. Members are engaged, inspired and share a passion to serve our community.
Collaborative
WSL celebrates teamwork and optimizes its members’ distinct skills and competencies. Collaboration is deliberate and dependable. Members are engaged and celebrate each other’s successes, inspire teamwork and accomplishments of WSL.
Fun
WSL activities purposefully incorporate fun into group events.
Welcoming
Members are friendly and encouraged to build internal networks. New members are welcomed, engaged in activities and guided by mentors in a year-long and thoughtful manner.
Transparent
Members are open and honest about WSL operations and strategies. Members generate trust and engage with each other.
Progressive
WSL is open to creativity, exploration of new ideas and approaches which support the Mission and thereby support the needs of our immediate community. WSL will purposefully remain open to adaptation and change.
Casual
Members are relaxed, volunteer in service activities appropriate for their lives and schedules and elect activities that are the most satisfying.
Respectful
Members are encouraged to share ideas and opinions knowing that other members will remain open minded and courteous as well as respectful of those ideas. Members are faithful and true to the Core Values of the organization and work with others to ensure the conservation of those Core Values.

We are comprised of ~60 women of all ages, who collaboratively and passionately work together to positively impact our communities. We are a highly respected volunteer organization working in service to our local Not-For-Profit and community organizations to "enhance the quality of life of individuals, families, and our community through creative and effective service".
